Here's a great source of information on the airplane.

Lot's of good stuff there.

There is not a single item at this site for the S550 S/II Citation. I agree there is lots and lots of good info for other planes. You may be confusing the Citation II (C550/551) with the S550. Cessna does make it easy with their model numbering.

Of course, there is not much free info available for this specific model. It had a fairly short run and only 159 or so was built. The last one in the late 80s.

The S550 falls somewhere between the Citation II and the Model 550 Bravo in performance. Different wing than either of those, different engine also but, closer to the Citation II. The S550 has some tweaks mostly for the higher altitudes but even so it is nothing like the modern Citations. But, it will carry 7 or 8 folks in style and most people can't tell a Citation from a Lear or Gulfstream anyway.

I used this site for reference material for the Lionheart Lear 24B review.

Hi Ray,

Please accept my humble and sincere apology.  I thought a lot of the information regarding systems etc would be common to all the 500 series aircraft.   But, obviously I was wrong.

You are correct about the systems info being somewhat common among the various jets. Same for the flight profiles. A lot of time and effort was put into making all that data available for free. Kudos to the poster.
