Saitek Instrument Panel as a 737 MFD?

Recommended Posts

Ray, thank you for the link! There are many excellent gauges there, but I didn't see anything that displays the range, flight plan and approach as lines on a nav screen.  Did I miss something? I searched for Phillip Verhaegebut none of the gauges where what I was looking for.

I found the review. Phillipe Verhaege is the name you need to search along with FIP MFD gauges. You can find the review here. http://forum.avsim.n...or-cockpit-r690

Hey, Ray! That review of yours was my touchstone during the agonising design and technology review / selection I (and all other simmers) went through - thanks for such a thorough and considered review. It put a lot of colour into 'the art of the possible' when I was looking at the various vendors - and confirmed my decision to start with 'generic' GA.

The trouble is, all this stuff grows on you, so my 'art of the possible' now includes seeing my how my generic GA environment can be repurposed for some 'heavy iron' flying.....

I may have some long evenings remapping Saitek control surfaces to 737 controls ahead of me.....and some leaps of the imagination during the workload to 'make it all fly'.
