Blurry ground textures problem

Recommended Posts

You can also try to max out your terrain mesh settings, like this:

[TERRAIN]

MESH_COMPLEXITY=100
MESH_RESOLUTION=22

Not sure, but it might help.

It didnt helped but thanks you anyway :)

Try unlimited frame rate "UPPER_FRAMERATE_LIMIT=0" and add "DisablePreload=1" to the [Main] section to enable vsync in fullscreen mode if you force vsync on

in nvidia control panel or Inspector.

This will allow fastest possible rendering.

OK, now I see what the problem is. You haven't set your Anisotropic filtering.

Simply choose "Anisotropic" as filtering mode. It's in your display settings in FSX.

Also, use nvidia Inspector and goto the FSX profile, set "Anisotropic filtering mode" to "Application controlled"

And set "Anisotropic filtering setting" to "16x"

Now it should look sweet :)

Sorry to disappoint, the texture had some improvements but there is still something wrong :(

Really?! I can't think of much else. Do you have many other programs running? antivirus active? Try turning off everything that you don't need while simming.

Try adding "Trilinear=0" to your display.device sections in fsx.cfg

Check at the same time that you see a line that says "Anisotropic=1". After that line you can add the "Trilinear=0".

Ok the video works now, and it looks strange how that autogen disappears and the ground goes blurry.

It beats me, sorry...

If you change views, it may take time for textures to reload.. that is "normal"

Could you post a new screenshot that shows the ground all the way to the horizon? Slew up a bit and take a picture from some altitude.
