I am one of the followers of this rebirth of Flight with great respect for stonelance, and the members who try to give solutions for the problems.

My problem is the same as albaran has, with the same log, only Result and Socket 558 = 714.

On my W7 Desktop I have no problems, but on my W8 laptop it won’t start.

Hope someone has a solution.

Unfortunately that log doesn't tell me anything useful.  Do you have any sort of firewall settings that may be blocking the app?

After updating to FT 1.1.6, when I start Flight, it just keeps loading and never stops until the whole system freezes. Before 1.1.6 it was working ok with the World Addon and FSX enabled. Anyone else having this problem?

I tried it with the firewall shut off, no result.

In Unmodified and OfficialGFWL mode it works fine, in NonGFWL it doesn't switch to the 2nd screen, Microsoft Studio's.

Can it be a W8 issue? Because in my W7 desktop it works fine.

This is a reply to my earlier post about 1.1.6: apparently, my system in general went nuts and it has nothing to do with the Flight Toolkit. After some diagnostics and testing, everything is working ok.

I am curious too, because I don't know what is going wrong.

Flight works fine exept in NonGFWL mode. It hangs after the first screen.

I am afraid I can't be of much help here. I am running in NonGFWL mode with everything enabled and tool kit 1.1.6. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 32 bit and have converted the FSX library as outlined by Stonelance and others. Everything is working ok after some initial system problems on my end. The only problem I have encountered is one already known: some of the aerocaches don't work. You can fly to them and the counter for the 20 mile, 10 mile, etc. works, but you can't find the star and collect it. Most of them do work. I have collected 200 of them since I restarted Flight with the toolkit. Sorry I could not be of much help but I don't know exactly what happened.
