Low Impact TBM-850 ? Carenado or Wilco or JetProp

Featured Replies

I am interested in getting a “fast-single”, and since I have a modest system, I find myself asking for a product with low impact on my system or at least less unnecessary demands on my system. For a TBM-850 which will have the better frame-rate, Carenado or Wilco?

Should I also be looking at the Carenado “Piper Malibu PA46T Jetprop HD Series FSX”
( Is the much difference between a TBM vs a JetProp? )

My system is as follows:
/ i3-4130 CPU @ 3.40GHz (dual-core) / 8-GB RAM @ 1,600 MHz / PNY/NVidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti with 2GB GDDR5 / HDTV @ 1920x1080p / FSX

I have already tried the freeware “FSX Socata TBM 700 Package” without much success.

Thanks in advance
JD

I haven't heard anything good about the Carenado TBM and, in fact, what I have heard it is very hard on systems.  I've never heard anything good about Wilco at all.   I have heard some good things about the Jetprop...I have it...am not a big fan of it, but some folks with experience like it a lot.  I do like the Carenado 350P Malibu Mirage.  Whatever you do, buy the airplane from Flight1...in case it doesn't work out, they have a 30 day return policy.

I will look into buying the "Carenado 350P Malibu Mirage",

Thanks

P.S. I think that I will submit another post asking for recommendations for:

fast + single-engine + side-by-side + civilian
