I have done some small amount of checking today and as far as overclocking the proc, it seems I am not and maybe not even running at optimum!

It's currently set at 40 (4000mhz) so I may try it at 42 at some time.

But I think maybe I need to run (again) through xxxxx's guide and also Nick's Bible.

 

I'd like to keep in touch though.

Jim,

I am embarking on those config references you have given.

I wonder if you know of a more recent nVidia config as the FSX Configuration uses an old version of nVidia Inspector.

The most recent version has more sections and some of the items referenced are no longer in Inspector or have been renamed

I am concerned that some of the new parameters may need adjustment to make the other changes effective.
