Autopilot mode controller moved to panel.

Recommended Posts

I much prefer to have the AP mode controller where I can see it, rather than down on the floor.

That is one of the reasons I like the B1900 better than the King Airs.

Here are the coordinates for the switch (the annunciator moves down to the FMC position, assuming you have disabled it..)

//gauge16=GAUGEC2!Gauge_ANUM_BG,                    270,261, 753,253
gauge16=GAUGEC2AP!Gauge_AP_MODE_SELECTOR_BG,           268,257, 757,259

[Vcockpit03]

//gauge00=FMCC2!FMC_configC2,      0,0,1,1
//gauge01=FMCC2!FMC_UN1VC,         0,0,512, 404

King Air 250/350 with Pro Line 21. AP/FD Mode panel under the Warning Panel.

When you are flying the King Air, even those with the FD/AP on the lower pedestal it is not that hard to reach and use. As your hand drops from the Power levers it falls right onto the FD/AP panel. It sits just slightly lower than your lap. Very easy to use.

In the real world, totally agree.  With FSX on a 27" monitor, not so much  :unsure:
