Hi,

 

Need some help with Reality XP GNS 530 installation on my Carenado Beech B200 King Air.

I did run the RXP530 installer I found in the Carenado_B200_King_Air folder. And I got the message that  RXP530 installation was successful. Having done that  I also found what I believe is the RXP 530 in the left GNS slot of the panel. At least there’s a “XP” in the upper right corner of the unit.

But – when I try to start it nothing happens. It seem completely dead. There is a clickable spot on the upper left corner of the unit (over the “Garmin” logo”) and when I click that a completely black pop up window opens up. (See below)

 

In the Carenado King Air panel.cfg file I find rxp listed in two places:

Yes Bert i have, i have A2A Cessna 172, Comanche 250, GNS 530 It works perfect in then, and i already have run the RXP.exe than have inside B200 folder.... But nothing happens....

What does your panel.cfg look like after...

Dont have any GNS530 References. but in panel folder have a panel.cfg.RXP i copied the lines from Panel.cfg.RXP to the main panel CFG but no changes....

I solve the problem!! problem was than wrong installation of GNS-530, i just reinstalled it and now works Fine!!.... Thankss a lot Bert for your patience!!

hey guys, sorry to revive an old topic but I am having the same issue, when I install the RXP installer from Carenado I get the RXP 530 but with the reality XP watermark on top of everything. The gauge is unusable.

Any suggestions?
What I did was to install Carenado B200 then run the RXP installer for carenado but after that I get that blocked gauge.

Any suggestion on what might be missing to get it working?
I didn't go through the GNS 530 Reality XP configurator to assign it to the aircraft. Is that required?

Also to add to my problem RXP GNS 530 is not working on any aircraft.

GNS 430 does work.

Any suggestion on what could be happening.

It's just one installer for both, so I don't understand why one works, the other one doesn't.

Do you need to buy each GNS separately? I bought the GNS430 but I thought I read that it includes both, (GNS 430 and 530).

I might be mistaken.

The 530 and 430 are two separate purchases.
