Will the NGX for P3D with added WX come at a cost of more VAS. Is the VAS level of the NGX staying as is or is it moving towards the 777/OOM levels?

 

I don't recall the weather in the 777 adding much more VAS consumption than before it was introduced, so my bet would be no.

Welcome. I'm not sure. I got part way through recording a video for Tutorial #1.5. I'm doing this one a little differently, though, so things are going slower.

 

I'm in the middle of searching for a new place to live, potentially searching for a new day job (contract is almost over), and a few other life challenges, so we'll see.

I hope the 747v2 VAS will be back down to current NGX levels.

 

We can only hope and wish. But unless we really have a 64 bit simulation soon, this VAS issue is only going to get worse in my opinion. We have spoilt ourselves by using exemplary addons from PMDG and now low quality stuffs, we wont even look at.

 

This expectation is only going to go high and frankly any more amount of complexity, in terms of graphics, speed etc without a 64 bit environment is total deadlock situation.

 

Every quality scenery which has come out in last six months has only added VAS issues and so is true for other addons... We are looking for immersion, reality, with a restriction of 32bit, thats not going work any longer.. We are already in an extreme honestly..

My hope was a flight with the new NGX today, but it seems this will not be the case... :(

 

But I'm sure PMDG will bring us an awesome update for the NGX and it will be worth the wait.
