I don't mean no direspect

Recommended Posts

Claude,

Don't worry about it mate - just let the darn thing land itself and watch what it does lol.   Seriously though, when I started with FS9 it was the first one that featured the 747-400 and I wanted to fly that by all means!

Problem was that I kept stalling it at the recommended speeds.   At that stage my knowledge about weights  were a little dodgy.   Turns out you cannot land at a 140 knots indicated with almost full fuel and payload lol.   Oh, well, I learnt the lesson the hard way, but we all start somewhere.   Just enjoy it, and if you need help, make a few posts here, you are guaranteed to get results!

Most of all, just enjoy it, the rest will follow :-)

Kind regards.

but I have brought shame on your 777. I've been crashing , landing short of the runway, overshooting the runway, over speeding, landing too fast without flaps, forgot landing/navigation lights,  failed to follow ATC instruction, flying under/over restricted FL, damage the landing gear, hit a tree etc...It was all done in the name of learning. Don't worry, I am not planning of flying commercial flight anytime soon.

All of that with the A/P and Autoland on ?
