Identify buttons and switches

It  would be helpful if when I put the mouse on an object, it says what it is.  Am I missing something or does it do that?  I know tags are in the manuals, but can't read so many pages to hunt them up.  Maybe after the tutorials several times I will become familiar with each switch and button.  Thanks

Look in FSX settings for display cockpit tooltips.

If you look carefully, all of the buttons are labeled, too.

Tooltips was on, Can see they are labeled if you get close and looking straight on.  Just thought it might come up when move mouse pointer over object without having to view right or left etc.  Will eventually learn the cockpit layout.  Appreciate the responses
