FS real time, run time error 5

Recently i've been getting this error when trying to launch fs real time. Anyone know what it is?

 

I use OS7

Recently i've been getting this error when trying to launch fs real time. Anyone know what it is?

 

Windows error 5 is simply "access denied". Evidently the program is trying to access a folder or a file which is protected. I don't know what files it accesses though, maybe its own parameter files?

CPU: 9900KS at 5.5GHz
Memory: 32Gb at 3800 MHz.
GPU:  RTX 24Gb Titan
2 x 2160p projectors at 25Hz onto 200 FOV curved screen

Now its back! Not sure whats going on

Vernon, Try installing it somewhere else away from C:\Program Files (x86)

an't, it only installs in that path! Cheers for the help glynn.

 

 

Vernon, it is a while since I used this, but I have just downloaded it again and installed it.

After the screen where you accept the licence agreement it gives you the option to choose your prefered install path

Thanks for the file. I have a feeling the problem might be related to the check-for-update routine within FS Real Time… I’ve added the “DisableNetwork” entry to your config file directly under the “General” section header. This will at least tell me if my assumption is correct.

Vernon, Not here is doesn't, it lets me choose the path  and installs there

Are you running the installer as Administrator ?
