PFD V/S INDICATOR

Does anyone know if there is an option to get the v/s indicator read 50s of feet instead of the 100s of feet indication?

Nope, Boeing didn't intend it to do that... also note FCOM 10.11.26 that it only indicates rates <>400 fpm.

 

Your question begs the question: Why? What are you trying to achieve?

He means the PFD showing increments of 50 fpm on the VSI - e.g 450, 550 etc. In which case, it should show these 50' changes, the real one does (as does the PMDG 777). Might be changed in the upcoming SP.

In the real 737NG they are displayed in 50's not in hundreds, and I believe thats how it is supposed to be in the sim too!

The 50' increments don't start until <1000' or thereabouts.

What is the need to get a life here? He just let him know the proper channel of getting it in the ticket system
