PMDG 777-200LR/F

Recommended Posts

Hello to everyone,

I bought the PMDG 777 on 08 february 2015 on the site http://www.precisionmanuals.com/index.html

I have only Flight Simulator X Steam Edition on my computer. I never had any other version of Flight Simulator on my computer.

When I install the PMDG 777 installation goes well. But when I go to Flight Simulator and I select the PMDG 777 nothing is clickable in the Cockpit! And
when I put the view outside the aircraft's wheels are not displayed

I am surprised that during and even after the PMDG 777 installation does not ask me my activation code that is normal? I have my activation code on the email that PMDG sent me.

I uninstalled and reinstalled once administrator once standard. I really do not understand. All my drivers are updated. I even reinstalled windows and it is always the same.

I said that all my others aicraft works perfectly !

Can you help me please because I am lost.

I Thank You in advance.

If you never had FSX, you probably need to install the three legacy FSX simconnect packages. These are located within the "SDK" folder in your main FSX Steam folder. Drill down using Windows Explorer into the SDK folder until you find the "Legacy Interfaces" folder.

I'm not at my computer, but if you search here at Avsim on steam+simconnect+legacy you should find more details.

You need to install SimConnect for the PMDG aircraft to function properly. These are located in your FSX Directory in the 'SDK' folder, then in the 'lib' folder and then in 'legacy interfaces' folder. Install all of the SimConnects in that folder and the aircraft will work after that.

Welcome to the forum! Any more problems please post again and we will try to offer a solution.

EDIT: You just beat me too it, Jim

Try restarting the sim and selecting that aircraft again. If that doesnt work, I would run the setup again and repair the installation.

This happened with my and the 300ER expansion and I think this is the way I fixed it.

Thank you very much jambo50 ! :)

I restarted sim connect and Boeing 777 FX work.

But when i return to my basic boeing 777-200 LRX it does not work and i have to restart sim connect !

It's like that every time for both Boeing. I think it must be a bug.

My PMDG are updated. I don't understand... I even tried repair facility and it is the same ... :(

Please can you tell me which difference beetween 777-200 LRX and 777 FX ?

Thank you once again

The second is the Freighter version.

PMDG does not like loading same model twice. Try changing from one 777 to another Default aircraft then load the other 777.

Hope this works.

Run the Operations Center, in your PMDG Programs folder, and update the 777 modules from there.

I have exactly the same install as you - PMDG 777 200, and then bought the 300 - installed on FSX-SE, this being my only version of FSX.

I have the sensation that having run the FSX registry tweak utility after having installed FSX-SE helped me with many add-ons. So far I am yet to find any problems with add-ons, even those not mentioned as FSX-SE compatible, like some Aerosoft, RealAir and A2A add-ons (scenery and aircraft). They all install beautifully :)

That tweak utility creates registry entries for FSX pointing to the FSX-SE install and it is useful for old installers which  are not FSX-SE-aware :)

It can be found here ate the Tweak FS Store ( but it's free!!! )

or here at the AVSIM Library ( you need an account there to download )

because i'm afraid to make a mistake on my computer with this software :( because i don't know how to use it ...

thank you in advance

I don't even think that's a proven solution... I just happened to use it, immediately after installing FSX-SE, and never had any problems with the stuff I installed on it afterwards, but it could get that same track probably with the registry tweak utility.

I hope you sort it all out Aviator380 !

Thank you very much jcomm :)

I downloaded tweak fs unfortunately but I still have the same problem. Perhaps i don't know how to use it correctly.

But it's not anything serious i would use the PMDG 777-200 LRX basic only...

I have one question if i need to reinstall my windows one day i must to uninstall my pmdg 777 before. And how many times i can activate my PMDG 777 ON THE SAME computer ?

There is an option in the PMDG FMC to deactivate the licence should you need to do a full windows reinstall.

Hit menu on the FMC...PMDG Setup...Licence...and in there there is the option to either view your licence codes or deactivate them.
