Thank you for the report.  I think the screenshots appear in reverse order. If I understand correctly, you have changed the HID/Joystick descriptions and types, clicked Save and find that the changes are not permanently saved.  I will investigate.

 

The flickering numbers are part of my testing to see whether a device was communicating with LINDA when dynamically reconnected. If it flickers it is working and data is be received.

Numbers are flickering. Re saving HID, that is correct. Description changes and types are not being saved. Also not being sent to Joystick operational page.

Hate to rain on your parade, but the software is letting loose on close again. Is there any information or steps I can take to help you in your investigation? I'm using the beta.

Hey Andrew,

 

Installed beta 8. No crash on shutdown. Haven't tried with P3D. That's next. Name change for controllers is showing up in operational page. Not being saved after close though. This is FYI
