Two appcrash fault modules

So currently trying to fix two CTDs. 

 

1) is the ai_player.dll crash upon exit of FSX.  Currently run WOAI and went through and validated all the traffic files.  Looked at the AVSIM CTD explanations and none seem to apply.  Only change I made recently was increasing the taxi speed via Flusifix.  I heard this modifies that .dll.  Anyone else have this issue? 

 

2) is the ending of a flight using the iFly 737NG.  Works flawlessly the whole flight, the CTD just occurs when clicking end flight.  Received a couple of .dll fault modules.  One was a FS2Crew fault module and the other was just ifly.dll_unloaded.  I'm really thinking it is a FS2Crew fault.  Is this a known issue?

Is this a known issue?

It is a known issue, thus the reason why it is shown in the AVSIM CTD Guide under Known/Probable Solutions. We did the research for you and looked all over the Internet in other flightsim forums and technical websites looking for solutions to the problems shown in the CTD Guide. The solutions/probable causes are what your fellow flight simmers provided as how they fixed their problem. There is no known solution for the AI_Player.dll that works for everyone. In the CTD Guide we provided some hints as to what to look for when researching a solution to your problem. I received the exact same error when shutting down P3DV2.5 yesterday. It must have been temporary as the problem has not reoccurred. Here is my crash report:

There is nothing in the CTD Guide that talks about FS2Crew or iFly causing this type of crash.  Those are definitely separate issues you need to discuss in the FSCrew forum here at AVSIM and/or at the iFly forum.  Usually when you get those types of crashes, it's an installation or sharing problem.

 

Personally I think there is a problem with your WOAI program.  It may have validated your traffic files but there are many other things that could go wrong with any AI Program.  If you can, disable WOAI and see if this fixes the problem.  There could be a problem with the aircraft textures or a flightplan is calling for an AI aircraft and cannot find the aircraft.

 

Hopefully you will find a solution like I did.

Thanks Jim.  Yeah I love the AVSIM CTD Guide.  Just I haven't made any changes to WOAI files so the only thing I can think of was the Flusifix taxi speed fix which edits the ai_player.dll.  I will roll it back when I get home and hope that was it.  I tried two different airports Gatwick and KABE and it did it in both places. I will undo Flusifix and turn AI to 0 to see if I can narrow it down.

 

Found the iFly FS2Crew issue.  Seems to be an unsolved issue with their updates post 2.0+ with Button control.

Just to report back, rolled back the taxi speed fix and set sliders to 0 for AI and still got the CTD upon exiting FSX.  Not a big deal since its on exit but guess I will have to search every WOAI fltplan and AFCAD.

Don't forget any static aircraft put at airports by addon scenery.  If it is the same airport when you shutdown fsx and get the error, I would suspect something with AI at that airport is not shutting down properly.
