[21FEB15] A Couple General Updates - NGX, J41, Xplane, P3D...

Recommended Posts

So, we can expect some preview screenshots for X-Plane soon?

What about the 747 for X-Plane?

I still wonder what "bugs" will be fixed. I never noticed one and always thought the NGX is a finished bug-free and perfect aircraft..

And thanks Robert for the update.

Thank you very much for the above update. :good:

As in time it turned out I found myself flying NGX most frequently, I am especially awaiting the NGX update.

Though, to be honest, in my view it is close to perfect at the moment, so I can't really imagine it will become even better.

Reading your reply made me wonder if I am "coming across" in a manner that I don't intend when I mention that the FSX-SE updates are no-charge...

I don't intend that to sound like "see what we do for you? You should be thankful!" (spoken in my best catholic-mother-guilt-voice...)

Never crossed my mind!

Mike

It is a bit sad to see the standard PMDG "soon" is replaced now with "shortly".

But yes, I see, all that legacy stuff had it's time it seems.

Hello Robert,

I am really sorry to keep banging on this drum as it were, but i haven't as yet got an answer to a question that is bothering me, i do appreciate that you may not be able to answer it yet but i would like some assurance.

In an earlier update you mentioned that people getting "into P3D after the (possible) 3rd release would have a much higher entry cost".  Let me make clear i have no issue with buying a new license to use both the 777 and 737 in P3D, not even at the higher price ($140), but i was holding off until P3D offers something different from FSX, 64-bit would be just that.  So my question, is it in my interest to purchase the 777 P3D now even if i don't intent to use it until the 64-bit version of P3D is released?  My second question, does this mean that new releases for P3D after LM update to V3 (possible) 64-bit would be way more expensive (prohibitively so) than the current release price?

Thanks

we are close enough to completion now that I think we have something worth showing....

Captain Randazzo,

Many thanks for the interesting updates. I am looking forward to the showing of your X-Plane products. PMDG sounds like a very busy place.

Good luck in your endeavors.

Captain Morgan

Robert, is an update on some minor bugs of the 777 (such as the lack of THR REF displayed when doing a go around with double TOGA push) planned in the near future? Thanks.

Great news! Looking forward to NGX in FSX:SE with weather radar. Didn't think much of weather radar before the 777, but now its a must.

Have I overlooked that? Is that gonna be a boxed update or downloadable after a registration?

I would expect the FSX SE DVD updates to include the NGX upgrade and bugfixes as well, including installations into FSX MS:

"FSX:SE Solution In the Works for DVD Customers:

Short version Repeat:  We are working on something for you...  It is going to take time.  Thanks for being patient.

We are working with Aerosoft, our DVD publication partner on a possible solution for customers who are DVD users who may want to take advantage of FSX:SE."

Probably a downloadable servicepack and/or full installer according to Aerosoft's update history.
