Hi guys!

Okay, so i was just wondering if any of you could give a link or title to your favourite freeware?

My personal favourite is the Just flight 757 freemium, but im having some issues with it, so i would be very happy if any of you could give a link (or a title) to a airplane.

Best regards, CapnOtto :)

I agree that FSUIPC is excellent, but many of the features that make it great are only available once it becomes payware.

There are two great freeware options with FSUIPC:  the ability to monitor VAS and have a complete log showing VAS usage and FPS during a flight; and it's ability to trap 99.9% of all G3D.dll crashes which is a real nemesis in FSX.  I do not use or need any of the other features.

Try flying Rick Pipers Chipmunk - I've always loved this freeware aircraft.

Air Traffic Manager is also fantastic if you run AI traffic - huge increase in performance.

I was also going to suggest the TU-154. Without a doubt one of the hardest aircraft to get your head around.

Everything here: http://indiafoxtecho.blogspot.ca/

And here: http://royalefrenchnavy.perso.sfr.fr/RFN-Creations.htm

And here: http://restauravia.fr/html/creations_fsx.html

In addition to the carriers found here: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxmisc&DLID=141093 (make sure you get both parts)

and the utility found here: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fsxutil&DLID=112008

The above (and linked stuff found on those first few pages) sum up pretty near everything perfect about FSX freeware.  There's lots more to add to that particular style of flying, tons more freeware aircraft and airbases, but the above is a darn good start. ^_^
