Question regarding textures' size of 3rd party software in P3D resolution

Recommended Posts

I would really appreciate if someone clarify whether I'm right or not.

I have my P3D set in 1024 resolution, however I have most of AI (FAIB especially) in 2048 res. and also some of 3rd party sceneries in 4096 res.

So, if P3D is running in 1024, does that mean that P3D engine will automatically convert all of 2048 and higher textures into 1024 mode OR it's my job to convert AI, sceneries, flyable planes' textures into 1024 resolution to diminish VAS consumption?

Thank you

P3D will handle the conversion. You don't need to do anything manually! :)
