Hi Wayne

The simple answer is Yes - anything is possible in software.  To start with you will need to identify the Lvar or FSUIPC offset that allows you to read the RPM. The Tracer function is the best place to start together with the FSUIPC Offsets Status (PDF). FSUIPC offset 0898 would be a good starting point.

Once you have the variable you need, scan the actions.lua for the A2A Piper for a function that does something similar to what you want to do.  Copy this function to the users.lua file in the A2A Piper folder.  You will also need to read my Release Notes in 2.5.7 or 2.6.0b for pick a field on the MCP2 to display the RPM.

That should get you going.  Trial and error is the best way to learn. REMEMBER to backup before you start anything.  Good luck.
