Turbine Duke v2 P3D out

Featured Replies

And here I was about to install my Carenado twins in P3D2.5. I've never owned a RealAir aircraft, but it seems this will suit my taste perfectly.

Bought...too bad I can't get Prepar3d to run or look half as good as my dx9 FSX setup yet.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

I really don't understand why people get so defensive and prickly, as above.  All arnobg was saying was that he cannot get P3D to look as good visually, as his FSX.   That's not a criticism of P3D is it? ... so what's it got to do with beauty being in the eye of the beholder?

I had a similar experience when I tried P3D while using a AMD/ATI graphics card.  The sim looked awful, even when using the highest AA settings on both the card and in P3D.

Now that I am using an nVidia card, P3D is far better.   But I think pmanhart, you totally misunderstood what arnobg was saying; you treated his report as a criticism of the visuals of P3D which it clearly wasn't.

Reading all these posts really doesn't help to withstand purchasing the Duke. ;-) I'm currently in my 777 on the way to Brazil. But I guess, as soon as I land tomorrow morning, I will go get the T-Duke. Everything I've seen and read is just amazing. Seems to be a must have... (especially since I already own the GTN 750). Only have to figure out how to tell my wife... ;-)

I guess, a nice present for her to go along with my T-Duke is the better idea... But the screenshot looks great nevertheless! ;-)

Rob/Sean,

So glad you guys jumped on the P3D bandwagon with this one, and can't wait for the Duke B60 and the Lancair Legacy. P3D and T-Duke are really pushing the boundries of what flight simming is meant to be!!!  Fantastic job!   RealAIr +P3D =   $$

Cheers

Martin

Will repaints from the TDuke v1 work in v2?

Thanks

Well, I know what's getting bought with the tax return. I'm more of an airliner guy, but this and the F1 GTN are now on my list.

Hi Peter,

The questionnaire is still there now, but it is much clearer than the one you first saw. A few people were still buying the discount product even though they did not have V2 for FSX already. The questionnaire now is even clearer than it was before so people do not mistakenly buy the wrong version (full price or discount).

Rob, lovely job - she's a beauty in P3D!

Thank you Craig!

Sometimes I forget that it's still basically FSX....

That's a lovely shot.
