New installation P3D 2.4

Recommended Posts

Good day,

I'm using P3D 2.4 / FSUIPC and flying the Carenado B58. I bought the GNS 530/430 ( without  Real nav data) to use it as a pop up on a second screen.

I'm having few problems:

On the screen, the digits are too big and not aligned.

The moving map on the G530 is not fluid at all.

I can not select the course when I press direct to, I don't have any crosstrack distance information on the G530, just the bar. When doing Rnav, GPS doesnt give turn messages all the time.

I would appreciate some help.

Are you running with zoomed font sizing in Windows.

Right click the desktop, select Personalize... then select Display in the bottom left corner. Reset the text size to 100% (default).

I can not select the course when I press direct to

We may not have implemented that feature, we'll look into it.

I don't have any crosstrack distance information on the G530, just the bar.

It's up to you to change the data fields on the moving map to display the XTK value.

When doing Rnav, GPS doesnt give turn messages all the time.

We would need a great deal more information than this to pursue it.
