Are you running a 3rd party weather engine? With there being 3 builds of P3d 2.5 in the wild, not all versions of the weather engines work with all three P3d 2.5 builds.

Thanks

Yes i was using ASN  beta build 5527 but it had worked so far.

I did crank up the layers to see what would happened i guess

You could try the latest ASN beta build (5540, which works with all three P3d 2.5 builds), but it doesn't sound like a build mismatch is your problem. If the new ASN build doesn't help, you might want to post about this error on the official HiFi message board.

After a great support over at HIFI/Kostas we have found that FSUIPC is causing this CTD error after loading the flight.

Disabling FSUIPC and everything is ok. Latest build as well(e). Awaiting Pete Dowsons forum

I am a little sad,

I still get the weather.dll error even with latest hotfix installed and ASN un-installed.

Every time i load the FSUIPC in dll.xml it CTD with latest and before that version.

I am desperate so i installed Prepar 3D hotfix to see if it was that but still no go.

The NGX is bought and i might just have FSUIPC uninstalled for now

Go to My Documents P3dv2 files and delete all your files that begin with previous, in particular this one Previous Flight.wx

Thank you great ideer but i am still desperate, with or without ASN and everytime i install FSUIPC i get this (5-15seconds after loading a flight). Disabling FSUIPC in dll.xml and everything is fine so it is FSUIPC

So what happens when you delete your cfg and rebuild, do you get the weather dll error , its just that i had the same problem and i cured it by deleting all my saved flights, delete fsuipc ini, and the previous wx file and it fixed it. and your running the latest fsuipc .

Goodluck.

Michael, one last suggestion, load P3d without ASN, gotto a random airport default everything, then introduce ASN, see if you crash, make sure FSUIPC has or is not saving your flights. otherwise try posting to Hifi forums with the error log.

Rick.

Edit: have you updated P3d with the hotfix, co`s its stable on my rig.

Thanks Rick, yes i have tried all that and HIFI/Kostas spent 1hour two days ago with teamviewer software and it is not ASN. It is FSUIPC so i hope Pete Dowson will read this as well as in his own forum support .

I have now updated to latest P3D2.5 version with same results

Thanks

Curious because a lot of fellow simmers don't have the problem so it's local to begin with...

Several questions before throwing solutions and shooting at a wild duck lol...

- You say suddenly so it worked before?

- Did you install something just before or did an uninstall of software or windows update?

- How did you updated P3D (start base version and applied with which hotfixes if any?)

- Which o/s etc...

Thanks,

André
