Michael Pearson appreciation thread

Recommended Posts

He is a machine, pumping out repaints and other addons. Many of the models he repaints for I do not own, but appreciate his work. It is tough finding repaints sometimes and he paints everything!

I'd like to thank Michael for all his repaints too, especially for his SAS SE-DDL "Huge Viking" repaint for the CLS/JF 747.

I was a young (and very awed) passenger aboard that aircraft in '78, on a flight from Copenhagen to Seattle, and it's a joy to be able to pilot it now in the simulator.

Didnt that flight continue on to Los Angeles? I am jealous you got to fly on the classic 747 too!

I'm not sure if that particular flight continued to LA, my party did, but on another aircraft.

We did however, if I recall correctly, fly the Scandinavian Jumbo home all the way from LA too.

Michael Pearson has done most, if not all, of the old SAS jumbos ...

I have to agree. For me (a crazy classic airliners fan) he has done some great work on the 742/743 by CLS and with Thomas Ruth's classic airliners, DC-10; A300/310; 727.

Not to mention the huge amount of retro AI repaints which he has done; and are filling my skies with the great 1970s and 80s traffic.

Keep them coming Mike :-)
