At what expense?

My question is if I have FFTF set at .1 in my cfg, will this program make a difference. I know it makes adjustments on the fly but I've reached a point with my set up where I'm pleased with my performance - or "how I stopped tweaking and reached a satisfactory compromise between visuals and performance."
