Very nice, looking forward to the official release.   Looks like they'll do a 737 set also.

Cheers, Rob.

Thank you Rob - will look great in your videos for sure - at first glance looking like you wont have to wait to long for an official version :)

i am trying it as well in p3d. the plane just looks amazing with these effects.

yah Brett is very nice isn't it - they have even added 3 weather themes to get you going - nice touch - need to be some more clouds in these themes but no biggie

Looks amazing. Really makes the PMDG 777 look even more gorgeous

I will be testing the PreciptFX and 777 immersion for P3D v2.5 as well. Cannot wait!

Cool pic, really!

But one thing baffles me - no fps hit at all? Seriously? It is at least 50% fps hit in FSX with NGX and T7.

EDIT: STUPID ME, just saw you talking about Immersion pack, lol. Anyway, how is fps hit in P3D2 with T7 comparing to FSX?

No fps hit in P3D using immersion - fsx no idea what that is lol never used this in fsx - dumped that mess a year ago

I also have absolutely no fps impact with the PrecipitFX base package in Prepar3D...

LOL ... so when's it due out with immersion packages ... what's FSX? ... 2006 right? ;)

Wow!?  Are you running SGSS AA in FSX?  That's the only time I've noticed a particle system impacting FPS significantly.  But can concur in P3D the base PercipitFX package has little to no FPS impact.  FX can be made to bring one's system to it's knees ... I've done this with the SDK FXTool ... however with careful manipulation FX can be done with minimal to no impact.

Cheers, Rob.

My mistake Rob, I misread OP's post so I was thinking about 50% hit in the NGX and T7 cockpit in comapre with default planes.
