PMDG 737 Livery install ?

I downloaded a livery from PMDG 737 (a .exe), but can't get it install in prepar3d no matter where I point it.  Are they just for FSX?

You probably could manually install the paint.

 

Can you just install it to a temp location?  Then just copy the texture.xyz (whatever the name of the new texture folder is) and you'll have to manually add entries to your aircraft.cfg

I just get an error message, & it ends.  If it was just the textures I could do what you suggest.
