More then likely down to your Anti virus. Completly disable it or add an Exclusion into the process.

Try disabling it first

I don't have anti virus running

]

All I have is MS basic protection. I take complete copy of my HDs as protection.

I uninstalld the P3D v2.5 verrsion of the Hi Fi software and resintalled the  5410 version from here

And it still doesn't work

This seems to be some over engineered stuff.. Sigh!

It accepted both my Keys...the new one and the 2012 key  too and said "success"

I have three versions of SDK Installed. I just installed the 2.5 version even though I only have P3D v2.4

Prepar3D v2 SDK 2.2.10437.0

Prepar3D v2 SDK 2.4.11570.0

I Just installed this.

Prepar3D v2 SDK 2.5.12943.0

I am not sure how it would know which version to use.

But that did not help.. Same crappy error

Quoted  from the post you made  in the hi fi forum

Which version of P3D are you running?

2.5 needs the open beta.
