Recommended Posts

I do get an error when it builds the navigation database..

What can I do to fix this??

This is the error:

  Application Name: fsx.exe
  Application Version: 10.0.61472.0
  Application Timestamp: 475e17d3
  Fault Module Name: Carenavigraph.dll
  Fault Module Version: 2.0.0.1
  Fault Module Timestamp: 54f5f526
  Exception Code: 80000003
  Exception Offset: 00343e6a
  OS-versjon: 6.3.9600.2.0.0.768.101
  ID for nasjonal innstilling: 1033

It looks to be the Carenavigraph.dll who causes the problem...

Did you try running FSX as an administrator?

Yes I do all the time..

I have tried to reinstall the Navigraph Expansion and the Carenado, but that didn`t help me..

OK that is not normal. Try sending a support ticket to Carenado with the above information. It may take some time but they should get back with you. They are normally inundated during weekends.

Did you try to update the database using Navigraph? The expansion comes with a base 1013 cycle that is already built in. It should not need to build a database unless you update it.

I have the same Problem. Expansion installation has stopped, frozen..I updated Navigraph 1503;  I've closed FSX, would try once more but then appeared onother Problem. FSX works no more. Fsx Loads, starts but I see no FSX window. If I try to close FSX then message "would yyou realy close FSX?"  So FSX runs, but show no window!! I have no idea what to do.

Dedek:

What often works for me in that type of situation is to discard my Previous Flight and rename a different flight which you know works ok to Previous Flight. Don't forget to rename the Wx file and the Flight Plan file also. Usually starts up ok to the earlier flight renamed Previous Flight.

Hi gentlemen,

please be so kind and open a topic in the Navigraph forum, whenever you mean, that there is an issue with our database. We can´t have our eyes everywhere - in such cases, it makes more sense to go directly to the developer: directly means to Carenado (via ticket) and/or to us (via a posting in our forum).

Thank you very much,

Richard

As all can see it is the Carenavigraph.dll who causes the problems as far as I can see..

Any suggestions here?
