Like everyone else here, I am shocked and saddened to read such a thing. I think we just take for granted that you will always be here building up this hobby that we enjoy so much.

I pray for your continued strength. Not just for you, also for your family. If it does come to mean the end of this adventure for you, just remember it also means the beginning of a hole new adventure.

I just hope that I can face my time, as we all will have to, with the same strength and dignity that you are holding so firm to.

Tom my prayers for you and your family this is just horrible news words can not express  I'm honestly lost for words, Tom I pray  and hope that everything will be ok I lost my wife a few years ago,  avsim has been such a big part of my life and the contribution to this hobby and the love of aviation thank you for the hard work and dedication God bless you Tom.

The Godfather of our flightsim community. You have created networks of friends and enabled the greatest of knowledge sharing within our community.   I have been logging into Avsim daily since 1998.  Deeply saddned.  Even though we don't really know you, we feel we do.

My thoughts go out to you, your family and your friends, Tom. I am sure I can speak on behalf of everyone within the AVSIM and Flight Simulator Community as a whole when I say this; Your support and dedication to the community has been second to none since the start, you really have helped shape the community for the better. We are All very, truly grateful of your dedication.

 

Spend all the time you can with your Family and Friends, Tom. The AVSIM staff are perfectly capable of maintaining the forums.
