SP1 Not seeing base install / No Initialization

Recommended Posts

The is a completely new install of Win 8.1 and P3D. I had so many issues had to reinstall. Now the plane will not initialize when starting up. Also when I try to install SP1c it does not see the base install. I used admin to install base package. Also it never asked me to enter a license either.

You should not be installing anything on top of the P3D version of the 777.  While you could say it's at the level of SP1d for FSX, it's best just to look at it as an installer that doesn't have any service packs released for it.

If it's not asking you for a license, install the SimConnect modules that are included with P3D. There are numerous threads and pages on Google that name the location to find the SimConnect.msi s.

You were correct I forgot about simconnect. Thanks!

Welcome! Also, don't forget to sign your posts, please. There's a function that will automatically do it for you if you'd like. You can set this up in your user settings here on the forum.
