Shadows in P3D

Hey guys, 

 

Is someone able to explain to me, in the lighting section what all of the settings do? Like except the lens flare ect i know what they do. But the others?

 

Like for example which one will make when you coming into land you be able to see the aircraft shadow in the water ect ?

HDR lighting switch gives you darker bit more blurry kind of feel - like sweetfx -----external cast and receive will give you the shadows you are looking for - cast will give you shadows on the ground - water - receive will give you shadows on the exterior of the aircraft surfaces
