My Boeing 737NG Project Begins With A Phone Call

Recommended Posts

Hi Every,

Well, I've waited many... MANY years for this day to arrive, I was a kid pumping gas at a gas station and FS was in its infancy. That's when I knew I wanted my own sim, well tomorrow afternoon I am scheduled to talk to Pete Cos from Flight Deck Solutions to work on my Plug and Play B737NG aircraft.

I'm a 53 year old man that will be up all night like its Christmas.

Could use some advice on projector visual options.

Thanks everyone

FINALLY :yahoo:

What about these projectors

Hi Mike

I am excited for you., Please do post lots of pictures and how it all develops.

I am starting very small with the TQ (737) from Flightmax. but I am interesting in how your project develops. Who knows..one day! Ha Ha!

That projector is probably one of the best projectors out there for Home Theater...It's value for money projector. I did some research for my Home Theater to replace my SONY  CRTs and that was what I had narrowed down to.. Except the non short throw version of it which is about $200-$300 cheaper. But I guess for Slight Sim, you would benefit with the short throw.

How many of them babes are you gonna get? 3?  with a curved screen? That would be awesome!

PS: You may want to check out on ebay... Its lot cheaper here. They usually don't have taxes either.

Good luck! I used a ST projector for my setup and enjoyed the experience I think in the future if I rebuild I'm just going to get a large screen display as the prices have dropped.

You can create a 180 degree wrap around with 2x W1080ST BenQ

Good luck on your project, I wanted to previously build a 737 (too difficult to build dual link yokes!) but switched to an A320!
