Recommended Posts

I am at a loss. Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Deleted shaders. Graphics drivers are good.  Any thoughts or help?

Thanks in advance.

Do you have the latest FSUIPC installed? I had the same issue and found a thread mentioning that the Immersion package requires FSUIPC to work. I installed the latest version which fixed the black smoke.

I don't use FSUPIC .. and I don't have any problem ..hmm

You will not see Wing condensation and other humidity-related stuff without FSUIPC

There seems to be an error in your current Prepar3D installation. These effects are using a default FSX/P3D texture file called fx_1.bmp in your /effects/texture/ folder. It probably was deleted by mistake by you or another application. Since this file doesn't come with our installer, I may suggest repairing P3D or reinstalling it. You might also ask a friend to send you the file but other files might also be missing in your sim.

Hope this answers the issue!

Let me know if you get to fix it!

I dont know the workings of P3d but if you have a p3d.cfg then wipe it and start again maybe?

I have FSUIPC Registered.  I will repair the installation and see how it goes. I'll report back.

After all efforts were exhausted. A full reinstall was required.
