Well I guess for such a low price I can take a gamble and test myself if it has any benefits for me over MS-FSX.

Just picked it up, but I'm not going to load Steam and FSX until the new version is released.

I broke down and purchased it also.

My disc install of FSX is doing pretty good, but for $5 I could not resist getting in on the Steam action.  Nice thing about Steam, once you buy software, regardless of price paid, you can download it and install whenever you want.  So, if my disc install starts to act up or the advantages to the Steam edition become so overwhelming, I have a very low-cost backup/upgrade plan. :smile:
