P3D HDR tweaks

Recommended Posts

Just some photos of the pmdg 777 using some of the new hdr tweaks I have been working on.  These shots showcase the increased daytime brightness and dusk transition lighting.  Some night shots to follow that will showcase the darkness of the night using the tweaks.  I be posting the details of the tweak once its stabilized.  Still working on a couple issues.

Jeez that looks real.

How are you tweaking the HDR? Using a shader like SweetFX or emb?

Thanks!  Nope no shaders or any addons, just some additions and modifications to the hdr.hlsl file within p3d.  It allows vivid bright daytime, with very dark night all using the same hdr file.

That looks incredibly nice. It would be nice to still use HDR at nighttime without the over-gloomy/bloomy panels and white clouds.

Looks pretty good.  I'm not a fan of that "bloom" stuff....note the blown highlights in your pics with white objects (clouds, fuselage etc)
