PMDG 737 owner: buy Level-D 767 yes or no?

Featured Replies

I just plugged in LD767 last night and the demo alone was very impressive. It's just another great package to add to your stable of heavies. I also will definitely purchase the PMDG 747 as well to complete the full range of domestic and inter-continental flights. It's just a fantastic time to be simming these days with a great bunch of talented teams out there.MikeDELL XPS Gen 5 Dual Core HTT 3.2GHz 800FSB2GB DDR2 SDRAM, 800GB RAIDWinXPP (SP2) DX9ATI Radeon X850 XT PE2405FP 24" Ultrasharp Widescreen

>Hi,>>Use these settings and you should be OK ;).>>TeroThanks! Great! :) But er... Is 'ADFS multi-channel' (which automatically turns on the remaining autopilots for autoland) really realistic...? I thought that one was in the 'same league' as 'FMC tunes ILS'.

Get it!!!

Hi,No, the AFDS automatic multi-channel is normal operation on vast majority of the 767s (also on the 757). Only on the older types would you need to manually arm the other two autopilots. The newer ones will auto-arm the other two upon arming APP(roach) mode, and they will actually engage when passing 1500ft RA (which means that the other two APs are only armed until 1500ft RA, even though the MCP mode lights become illuminated right after selecting APP).Tero
