I was wondering, as I couldn't find any posts about this, whether it is possible to put some sceneries on other drives? Will FS9 read it all right? The reason I'm asking is I have so many sceneries installed and now we're getting some huge sceneries like VFR France's Ile de Paris which is a whopper in size.Lee

I have Megascenery PNW and Megacity Dallas Forth worth omn another drive (as recommended by PC aviator). I don't notice any significant improvement in loading times.

Do the loading times seem normal, like any other scenery?Lee

I too have MegaSceneries on a separate drive. Haven't noticed any difference, good or bad.

I keep my megascenery and other titles like that on another drive.. Its just telling MSFS where to look for them is all.

There have been other threads on this subject. I also have a lot of scenery on another drive. The sim loads slightly faster, subjectively.If you search you will find my instructions for creating a duplicate scenery .cfg and a duplicate scenery file so you can directly compare the results on YOUR rig. As with anything computer, YMMV!Allcott
