Can ASN SP2 (latest update for v2.5), also be used in v2.4?

I want to install the SP2 pack that is available, but I am running with v2.4, and ASN (SP1) and don't want to wreck ASN, no longer working with v2.4. So the question is...can you install the the SP2 pack, and will ASN still run with v2.4?

Go back to the page you downloaded the SP2 update, and below that is a file that will reset your license.

I downloaded and ran  the file to reset the key, but it did not help.  Still says my license is expired.
