... as the title says. My PayPal account was locked when they thought someone was using it without my permission. The paypal support is extremely slow so I given that up.

As for me, my Paypal account got hacked a couple of years ago. Then I got sent a €60 bill for what the hacker spent with my account, because I didn't have a credit card linked to my account. I wish companies would support other payment services than ScamPal.

wow, that does not sound good...

I've used PP for years both to buy and sell and have never had an issue. I've funneled thousands of $$ thru them. As for support - I just picked up the phone and spoke to a rep and any problem was solved right away.

 

My only complains is that, like many other online companies, they make it difficult to find the phone number to contact them but if you browse down through the help/contact us layers, you will find it.

 

I readily recommend them.

I had a problem like you.  I contacted them, they reversed the charge and gave me $50 credit for my troubles.  Didn't seem like a scam to me.

I didn't use paypal - just used a visa card - pretty simple
