4K.

G Sync not work with P3D, due to the lack of a real full screen.

Oh ok thanks ...good to know

G-sync is great, but it does not work in windowed mode (or full-screen windowed mode), so it will be of no use if you just want it for P3D.

I tried it in FSX (full-screen mode) and it really made everything very smooth (as long as the FPS is over 30) and removed any kind of micro-stutter, so we will either have to hope that LM implement a proper full-screen mode for P3D, or that Nvidia makes G-sync work in windowed mode.

I am running an Acer 27" 4K monitor for a few weeks now and I am very satisfied with the result for Prepar3D. The GPU (970) finally has a lot to do but it looks stunning. Downside is that menus and symbols in normal Windows applications are sometimes hard to read, even at 160% setting. However, this is less an issue with Win 8.1 than with Win 7.

Agreed- My partial fix is to have a "normal" second screen (for me 1980x1080, but could be any usable resolution), I run the main desktop on that screen, and P3D on the 4K screen. If I open up a dialogue box like MAP or Settings on the P3D screen, I slide them across to my normal screen - makes life a lot easier.
