April 14, 201511 yr The AVSIM CTD Guide provides suggestions for fixing problems when fsx wont start up. Looking at your post though indicates to me you have most if not all of your settings to to the max and that wont work with fsx. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! April 14, 201511 yr Administrators In your settings, make sure "Pause on Task" isn't checked. April 14, 201511 yr First try turning your settings down. Your video card has very little to do with what your computer can handle in regards to FSX. FSX is dependent on a fast CPU for high settings. When you start FSX and can't see it, hover your mouse over the FSX icon on the Taskbar. You should then see a thumbnail of FSX, click on it. Now press Alt + Enter. regards, Joe The best gift you can give your children is your time.
April 14, 201511 yr Try moving the logbook.bin to a temporary folder. It's located in MyDocuments/Flight SimulatorX Files. Also moving the CTD Forum. Your sim may not have crashed but you have to shut it down as it won't start up. Same thing. Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
