A2A Update 4-15-15 available

Recommended Posts

Just flew a nice little night flight from KMRY to KHAF with a GPS approach in the Cherokee using GTN650, it was very nice. The GTN and Cherokee work very well together.  In fact, I think the Cherokee/GTN FPS is slightly better than it did with RXP.

Cheers

Thanks for the heads-up, TJ. Do any of you happen to have a direct link to the download? I can't access the A2A forum again (getting the 'migration' message...). OK, it's back up

Yes sorry for the issues accessing the domain some may encounter. We are on the new server 100%, just got to wait a little now whilst everything propagates through the magic that is the 'interwebs'  At the time of this post though I believe just about everything should be sorted and if not already will be by 24hours time.

cheers,

Lewis

There a thread Lewis started - New Update - GPS - Preview - the first pic shows the 750 & 650 together in the A2A C172.

I think you'll enjoy the Cherokee alot Elaine,  it's VC is one of the tops in all of FS IMHO.  The 'new' Cessnas have a very 'sterile' feel to them IRL.  the Cherokee is very '60s' and quite charming,  I never thought I would have so much fun in a mundane 120kt plane like the Cherokee lol.  But there is something about it, I actually enjoy it a little more than the 182.  A real joy to fly by hand too, especially with it's clunky old autopilot which is really only good for giving your arm a break during cruise.  It forces you to fly by hand more often....which is a very good thing after being inundated by the IPAD generation of technology.  B)

If only A2A could be tempted to do the Cherokee 235....which was Piper's competitor to the 182.  Great Cherokee handling + payload/performance of the 182.

Cheers

I've asked them so many times to do a piston twin...would buy it in a second.
