Carenado C90 crosswind help

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to figure out why this little king air can't handle a stiff crosswind.

Is it my setup? (Or PEBKAC!)

I'm departing Ry 27.  Winds 33015G25KT.  A decent wind but nothing amazing.  I've got basically full left rudder and right aileron on takeoff roll but I'm basically going off the runway.  Rudder boost on or off won't affect anything.

dunno about the c90, but I've experienced this in just about all the GA planes (mostly carenado's) I've tried within xplane. When you start getting crosswinds 20+ the sim can't do any ground ops, and so it's typically time to hangar it. Not too realistic, and in fact quite annoying. for really windy x-winds you'll likely have to use fsx still.
