A strange problem with the B 777 in P3D, I not be prompted to enter your serial key

Recommended Posts

I sit to build P3D up again after upgrading my computer. Installation of PMDG B777 seems to go perfectly normal. After completing installation I take a restart of the computer, and start P3D and select PMDG B777, now one might usually be instructed to enter producktkey to activate the product, but that not happend. Have taken three installations, and downloaded it again from my account pages. Some proposed solution? I use the latest edition of P3D v2.5

This issue is probably caused by an incorrect SimConnect runtime installation on your computer, follow these instructions to fix it:
Navigate to this folder:
<P3D root folder>\redist\FSX-RTM\lib

Run the SimConnect.msi installer file inside the folder.

Repeat the process in the FSX-SP1\lib and FSX-SP2-XPACK\lib folders.
Let us know if this solves the issue or not.

EDIT: Have you checked to see if it's working? Unless you re-installed your operating system, your license is still on your machine, so you wouldn't be prompted.

Imagine how terrible it would be for the beta team if you had to reactivate it with each install...
