....A few years ago. While I don't know or want to know what you are talking about.  People are human, have bad days and make mistakes.  If you go to their forums, you will see that they are very helpful, prompt and responsive. Although, general rule of life, stupid questions get stupid answers.

Also, not too long ago many companies were sour towards P3D.

The higher price for the GTN in P3D is understandable since P3D is a moving target.  Heck they have already had to fix it twice in the short time v2.5 has been out at no fault of their own.

I bought the B200 for P3D and if I'm being perfectly honest the texturing is meh...at least compared to the Milviz or Carenado King Airs.  But the systems are another story...very, very nice and the failures and service options are exactly what I have been looking for.  Overall, given the features per price I am a happy customer.  Performance in P3D is very good for me.

Can you tell me how the MFD's looks at day time?...that was my mayor issue with FSX since they ,to me, look very blurry..plus FPS going ridiculous down at any FSdream airport ..dont take me wrong guys, as a turbo pro I believe is one of the best but this time I will definitely will like to see some pictures and videos....

Such quality work is best presented with the proper treatment of shadow and light!

That's why I run the Mustang under DX10, the shadows bring the VC alive

Our philosophy is the same as it has always been, if you are not using what is the most current version whether it be FSX or P3D then you need to be.

P3D has had so many versions out that it is not manageable to support them all.

That's about the worst idea I've ever heard of as P3D is changing, your aircraft may not be updated in-step with P3D updates.  If it doesn't say supports P3D 2.5 or P3D 2.5 or greater then I pass as many cases I'm unsure when people say "P3D" it could mean so many things now and I can't assume you keep your aircraft updates exactly in step.

Hi there,

Jim Rhoads specifically said that you should always be using the very latest version, as that's the one they will support. How is that "about the worst idea I've ever heard of "?

I use their Garmin GTN 750 and they have updated it to be compatible with the various hotfixes that came out within P3Dv2.5, what more could one ask for?

Cheers,

Jerome

I'll give a good example the XtremeCities package has not been updated for P3D 2.5 yet it just says P3D...people assuming it supports the latest P3D would be wrong.  I'm sure that isn't the only case.  It's just intelligent to post what version your software supports.  Just cause a software Support Windows how am I supposed to assume it supports Windows 98, XP, 7, 8 or even 10?  I can't take you word that it's updated to the latest version.  In any event, no skin off my back I just don't purchase stuff I'm not sure will work and clearly stated what it will work with.

Hi again,

Nobody is assuming anything with regards to what Jim Rhoads said. If he stated that they will always support the latest version, the current one is 2.5.12945.0, then this is the version supported at present. When 2.5.12945.0 is updated, they will update the B200 accordingly to be compatible, it's as simple as that.

If you wish to create confusion over nothing, you are free to do so.....it just seems pointless, like so many posts here on Avsim.

Cheers,

Jerome

Yes it can as pop-up, but why would you want to do that?  The plane is using G1000 with Navigraph updatable Nav data.
