Hummm. I checked mine just to see if it's still working being I had just upgraded to the latest

version of SE, and all seems normal on this end. Also updated to the latest SP2c ASN, but didn't

check it. But I'm almost sure it's OK, being as I did re-install it for both versions and had no

glitches. As far as I know I'm on the latest version of the NGX.. "second update since SP1d".

So the latest SE version shouldn't have killed the NGX, being it works here.

I cant even get past the start up screen. I choose PMDG and then failure. Damn, everything else works. Well, time to do some researching!!!!

The faulting module, nvwgf2um.dll, is a NVidea dll and it is causing the crash.  I have seen this reported here in the past several months but never a solution. Google nvwgf2um.dll and you'll find lots of tips and things to try.  Also, you can submit a trouble ticket to PMDG Product Support and they may have some insight into what NVidia's 3D drivers are trying to do.  Are you using DX10?

Perhaps you'll report back on the solution that works for you?

No DX10, and it seems like alot of nvwgf2um have to do with that. Its just seems funny its only NGX ,so i'm guessing the NGX does not like something with that dll.

Well that solution work until i installed Eaglesoft Citation X, and made it the plane for my default errrrrr!!!!. I just reformatted my flightsim PC. Win7 64 and re installed FSX-SE. Started adding all my add on's , beginning with the NGX. After each add on, I would make sure NGX would start up. After installing the X, no problem, NGX would start up and the X would start up. It wasn't untill I had made the X as my default start up plane, that the NGX would not load and crash FSX-SE. After a little trail and error, i made a default aircraft as my default start up. NOW......all is good  :):):) I seem to recall something about when starting Eaglesoft aircraft, you should load a default plane first, then load Eaglesoft plane.

Making the Citation X the default aircraft is probably not a good idea. In the user guide for the NGX, it says that you should not load another complex add-on aircraft as default before loading the NGX, or there is a good chance of these kinds of problems. Even reloading the NGX on top of itself is likely to cause a crash or unpredictable behavior.
