Brake Temp

Since I made the update in FSX with 737NGX 1D, I've notice that no matter what, my brake temp allways remain at 0. i've try to use the brakes intense on taxi or landing, but no rise temp. no matter what. It's not big deal, but just curious if someone else notice this. And yes, I have selected under option "brake temp on".

Compared to the 777, the NGX is a pretty light plane. Add that to the FSX Runway-Covered-In-Peanut-Butter coefficient of friction (read that as "friction is way too high in the sim") issue and you get an autobrake that really doesn't add much breaking to the sim to get it to match the autobrake level values. Because of this, the brake temp indicates lower than it should for the same operation in the real world.

 

If you do a few rejected takeoffs, you'll see it, though.

Thanks for reply, infact I've notice that changing from carbon to steel brakes the temp. is rising a little bit (not much, but after landing at 0.5 - 0.6)
