FSX Acceleration Activation Error 8-c0000006?

Recommended Posts

I have been getting this error for quite some time now and don't know as to what or why this issue is coming up or how to fix it. if I take and fly for a little bit then take a break to let the dog water the grass come back and try to fly I get this error come up. when I  close it the multiplayer portion of the menu is gone but every thing else works when closing this error. what is this and is there a fix?

If you go to Google and Google "Activation Error 8-c0000006" you will find many more posts about this error from the flight simulation community and not just AVSIM.

oh yeah I know. but the pages I have been to don't say what is causing this or how to fix it? I can't fix it if I don't know what it causing it? cause my simulator is a legal copy and it is successfully activated.
