Mu-2B Question

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Just purchased the Mu-2B, and have only done one quick flight, but I have a question - I cannot find a way to turn on the radar. I am using the GNS 530 model, the avionics switches, generator switches and the inverter  switch are all on. On the video, it appears he just turns the knob on the lower left to standby and later, to on. I can't find a click spot anywhere on the radar.

I know you went to a lot of effort to get the sounds right, but the rotating beacon is  going to drive me crazy! I'm going to look for a way to lower the volume.

The weather radar is just a fake placeholder...unless you already own the realityxp weather gauge. How can you hear that beacon sound with the engines running? I only hear the beacon until I start the engines at which point the engine noise drowns out the beacon, no?

Bummer on the radar.

Yes, I hear the beacon above the sound of the engines. I finally turned it off in mid flight and the sound stopped. I'll have to check my FSX sound settings, maybe I have a slider too high.

More than likely, you have a slider too low. Probably engine sound slider.
